GOT A QUESTION?
Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, you will need an initial consultation which often last about 15 minutes longer than your first appointment. Consultations are important because they allow us to assess your needs and create a personalized treatment plan for optimum recovery.
In general, a manual therapy session lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. However, this can vary based on the individual’s needs and the complexity of their condition.
Please note that your physician may give you a referral, and possibly have one faxed to us. However, they do not schedule appointments with us for you. Instead, it will be your responsibility to follow up and schedule your own physical therapy if you do not hear from us.
The frequency of sessions typically ranges from 2 to 3 times per week. However, this is also individualized based on the patient’s progress and the therapist’s recommendations.
Sure, you can get exercises from Google. But keep in mind that the exercises you research may not be appropriate for your situation and connecting issues. Therefore, they may do more harm than good. Manual Therapy provides individualized treatment plans and utilize hands-on manual skills to improve musculoskeletal or neuromuscular function. As such, we are experts in human movement. Plus, we identify the underlying causes that lead to problems and provide valuable pathways for recovery.
Our manual therapists measure your baseline function at the start of care during your evaluation. In addition, you will fill out a subjective questionnaire regarding your current function with activities of daily living. During subsequent visits, our therapy staff will monitor and assess your progress with activities during treatment sessions. You will be provided regular feedback.
For patients that do not have insurance, we offer a discounted self-pay rate, due at the time of service.
